I am wrapping up the accounting on our end of year LANDOWNER APPRECIATION GIFTS effort.

Your generosity is nothing short of amazing. Here is a summary:

TOTAL DONATIONS $845 !!!

Additionally, members donated homemade brownies, homemade banana nut bread, homemade dinner rolls, homemade jam and honey. THANK YOU.

I spent $300 on gift cards to an Ashland restaurant called Jake's Place (6 cards @ $50 each). I added peanut M & M's to one bag ($7) and purchased gift bags and tissue paper ($33).

Gift bags were hand delivered to our landowners just before Christmas - the Edwards family, the Smith family, the Alderman family, the Overton family and the Bailey family. We also put together a gift bag for our devoted webmaster Kelly Gannon.

We have a balance of $505 remaining. Our plan is to make a donation to the Beaverdam Ruritan Club and to Hampden Sydney College. The Ruritan Club allows us to use their building as headquarters for our March tests and the College hosts our January VST test.
