Read and Think

I’ve posted some phrases that have influenced me over the decades. Denny Emerson is simply an amazing horseman (Tamarack Hill Farm on FB). Ken Ramirez is truely a hero of mine (who else has saved over 300 wild elephants by changing their migration pattern, AND trained butterflies?????). I can tell you Ken stories….and I guarantee you will be in awe ( I just awed Kara over the phone).

Please read them and think. None of these talk about the final behavior….because the final behavior is 100% dependent upon the fundamentals that proceed it. As “dog trainers,” we get so damn focused on the end/final behavior. Let’s go ahead and focus on the fundamentals that allow the end behavior to evolve!
